Mix the butter, sugar and salt until it makes a smooth paste, then add the egg and mix to combine.

Sift the flour into the mixture and combine before adding the sesame seeds and stirring them in. Leave the mixture for at least an 1 hour in the fridge.

Onto a lined baking tray, evenly place small balls of the mixture using a spoon. Then flatten each ball out into a thin circle.

Bake in the oven at 160C for around 15 mins until golden brown and crispy.
